About this game
One deterministic word per calendar day, the same for every player, derived from the date alone — no server needed. You get six guesses; after each, tiles turn green (right letter, right place), yellow (right letter, wrong place), or grey (not in the word). Solve it to grow your daily streak, then copy a spoiler-free emoji grid to share.
How a round goes
Say the hidden word is CRANE and you open with SLATE. You'd see: S, L grey (not in the word), A yellow (in the word, wrong spot), T grey, E green (right spot). Next guess you move A elsewhere and keep E last — e.g. TRACE — then CRANE. Green = right place, yellow = right letter/wrong place, grey = not in the word.
How to play

Frequently asked questions
Is it the same word for everyone?
Yes — the word comes from the calendar date, so everyone playing that day gets the exact same puzzle. At your local midnight, a fresh word takes over.
Are my guesses sent anywhere?
No. The word list ships with the page and all checking happens in your browser. Your guesses and streak are stored only in your browser's local storage.
How does the streak work?
Solve the puzzle on consecutive days and your streak grows. Miss a day and it resets to one, but your best-ever streak is kept.
