About this game

A simple, addictive reflex test. The panel turns red, then — after a random delay — green. The instant it turns green, click. Your reaction time in milliseconds is recorded; click too early and the try doesn't count. It runs five rounds and reports your average and best. Typical human visual reaction time is around 200–300 ms.

Example

The panel shows red, then flips to green after a random 1–3.5 second pause. Click the instant it turns green — clicking while it's still red is a false start and restarts the round. Most people land around 200–300 ms; under 200 ms is quick.

How to play

  1. 1Click Start, then wait — don't jump the gun.
  2. 2The moment the panel turns green, click as fast as you can.
  3. 3If you click while it's still red, that round restarts.
  4. 4After five rounds, see your average and best time.

Frequently asked questions

What's a good reaction time?

Most people land around 200–300 ms to a visual cue. Under 200 ms is quick; the world's fastest are near 150 ms.

Why did my early click not count?

Reacting before the green appears is a false start — the round restarts so the test measures reaction, not guessing.
