Turn sideways or upside-down pages the right way up.

Runs entirely on your device — your files never leave your browser.

Drop a PDF to rotate

Every page is turned the same way · drag & drop, paste, or click to browse

Runs entirely in your browser — nothing you enter is uploaded or sent to a server.

This turns every page the same way and saves a new copy — ideal for a scan that came in sideways. Nothing is uploaded; the rotation is applied in your browser. Read our full disclaimer.

About this tool

Scanners and phone cameras love to save pages sideways. This tool rotates every page of a PDF by a quarter, half, or three-quarter turn and gives you back a corrected file. It reads and rewrites the PDF in your browser, so the document never leaves your device.

Which way?

A page lying on its right side usually needs 'Left 90°'; one on its left side needs 'Right 90°'. Upside down is a 180° turn.

How to use

  1. 1Drop in the PDF you want to straighten.
  2. 2Pick the turn: right 90°, upside down, or left 90°.
  3. 3Rotate, and the corrected PDF downloads.

Features

  • Rotate all pages by 90°, 180°, or 270°.
  • Adds to any rotation already baked into the file.
  • Keeps the content untouched — only the orientation changes.
  • Runs in your browser; nothing is uploaded.

Frequently asked questions

Can I rotate only some pages?

This tool turns every page the same way. To rotate a subset, split those pages out first, rotate them, then merge them back with the rest.

Will rotating reduce the quality?

No. Rotation only changes each page's orientation — the text and images are left exactly as they were.

My scan looks fine on screen but prints sideways — will this fix it?

Usually yes. Some viewers ignore a page's rotation; applying a real rotation here bakes it in so it prints correctly everywhere.

Is the file uploaded to rotate it?

No — it's read and rewritten locally in your browser.
