About this tool
A no-fuss to-do list that keeps your tasks on your own device. Add tasks, mark them done, edit them inline, and filter between all, active, and completed, with a live count of what's left. Your list is saved in your browser's local storage, so it's waiting when you come back — and it's never uploaded, so there's no account to create and nothing syncing in the background. It's ideal for a quick daily list, a shopping list, or a project checklist you want kept private to this device.

How to use
- 1Type a task and press Enter (or Add) to add it.
- 2Click the checkbox to mark a task done; double-click the text to edit it.
- 3Filter between All, Active, and Completed.
- 4Use 'Clear completed' to tidy up finished tasks.

Where are my tasks stored?
In your browser's local storage, on your device only. They're never sent to a server, so they stay private — but they're tied to this browser.
Do my tasks sync across devices?
No — the list is saved only in this browser on this device. That keeps it completely private, but it also means it won't appear on your phone or in another browser. Treat it as a local scratch list, not a synced app.
Will I lose my tasks?
They persist in this browser between visits. Clearing your browser data, or using a different browser or device, will start a fresh list — so keep a copy elsewhere for anything you can't lose.
Is there a limit to how many tasks I can add?
There's no fixed limit from us; the list is bounded only by your browser's local-storage space, which comfortably holds thousands of short tasks.
